Vanessa Kundert, Account Manager – Oregon
Vanessa joined our West-Com team to assist the healthcare facilities and communities in Oregon following her professional history working in the healthcare industry throughout the care continuum. Beginning as a medical assistant in the clinic environment, and later obtaining her nursing license, Vanessa’s career in the medical field grew quickly as she began working in acute and post-acute facilities holding positions such as charge nurse, admissions coordinator, social services assistant, discharge planner, resident care manager, interim director of nursing and her personal favorite clinical compliance officer. In this position, Vanessa would identify clinical and facility workflow difficulties and create solutions/plans of correction that not only improved clinical workflows, but also aided in streamlining communication between staff in multiple departments resulting in successfully improving the quality of care provided. Vanessa now uses her history of on hand experience as a medical professional to carry out the same end result for medical offices, health care systems and senior living communities. By bringing together clinical staff’s needs and operational teams expectations, she is able to instrumentally design solutions configured entirely to each facility’s clinical and operational objectives. She is proud to continue her work of helping Oregon remain the national leader of long term care (http://www.OHCA.com 2019) by Representing West-Com Nurse Call Systems and improving quality of care and enhancing patient and family engagement goals throughout Oregon by not only maintaining facility compliance standards but also directly improving HCAHP scores and state survey results.
