Adventist Health has awarded West-Com & T.V., Inc. a sole source enterprise partnership agreement to standardize the systems and devices for nurse call communication systems and related enterprise methodology across all acute Adventist Health markets over the next five to seven years. The enterprise transition is expected to be complete by 2030.
The selected technology platform— Connect™— is manufactured by West-Com Nurse Call Systems, Inc., a leader in nurse call innovation for more than 40 years. Connect offers healthcare organizations powerful tools designed to improve and facilitate communication, collaboration, workflow and trust between care providers, patients, family members and support personnel. It is an enterprise solution and the cornerstone of the standardization project, enabling Adventist Health to develop a standard of excellence across care processes that support modern and consistent care delivery. Connect will support interfaces with Umano beds, Cerner EHR and Cerner CareAware Connect.
